On September 16th PlayStation held their second big PlayStation showcase. The showcase was not short on surprises such as Final Fantasy XVI, Hogwarts Legacy, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach, and the mic drop movement of the event God of War Ragnarok (which we assume is the title). The most unclear part of the event had to be the PS Plus Collection. What is it? The PS plus allows PlayStation plus subscribers to enjoy the best games that were on the Ps4 for free. There were a total of 18 games and it was set to release with the PlayStation 5. The list ranges from a bunch of first party exclusives, to timed exclusives and some blockbuster third party games. Some games were previously on PlayStation plus others are first timers. The list of games includes: God of War, The Last of Us Remastered, Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Ratchet and Clank, Detroit Become Human, Infamous Second Son, Persona 5, Final Fantasy XV, The Last Guardian, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, Monster Hunter World, Fallout 4, Mortal Kombat X, and Batman Arkham Knight. The games on this list might be old but they are fantastic games that you should not miss out on. I believe this is Sony's way of combating Microsoft’s brilliant Xbox Game Pass which is still the best deal in gaming as of right now. The PS collection is a big step forward for Sony and it is great for us fans as we can enjoy the great games that made the Ps4 Generation so special.
